Brazil ANATEL issues requirements for user network interfaces, exchange-based fixed telephone terminals, and xDSL filters

On May 18, 2023, the Brazilian National Telecommunications Agency (ANATEL) announced the following two acts:

1. Act No. 1326/2023 – Technical requirements for assessing the compliance of products with user network interfaces and exchange-based fixed telephone service terminals.
2. Act No. 1254/2023 – Technical requirements for assessing the compliance of xDSL filters.

The above regulations will be effective from the date of their publication.
