Headphones (inspection scope: those with power input, exclusive of those medical devices or telecommunications terminal equipment) under C.C.C. Code (the first 6 digits are the same as HS Code): 8518.30.10.00.1, 8518.30.20.00.9, 8518.30.32.00.5, and 8518.30.39.00.8 starting from January 1, 2024, the implementation of import and domestic production commodity inspections is required.
The inspection methods include type approval batch-by-batch inspection or verification registration in parallel. Manufacturers using the verification registration method should obtain a product verification registration certificate before the import or shipment of the goods.
