On December 29, 2022, the China Quality Certification Center issued the standard GB17625.1-2022 “Electromagnetic Compatibility – Limits – Part 1: Limits for Harmonic Current Emissions (Equipment input current ≤ 16A).” The new standard will be implemented on July 1, 2024, replacing the GB 17625.1-2012 standard. Note that the conversion of certificates based on the old version should be completed before July 1, 2025. Failure to complete the conversion by that date will result in suspension of the certification by CQC. If the certificate conversion is not completed by October 1, 2025, the certification will be revoked.
