On April 28, 2023, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand issued the technical standard NBTC TS1039-2566 for Telecommunication Equipment Using Frequency of 5.925-6.425GHz. This standard pertains to the qualification and implementation of Wifi 6GHz (Wifi 6E). On June 8, 2023, NBTC scheduled an internal meeting to summarize the required documents and test reports for the certification of Class B products (such as WWAN+Wifi 6E products) and SDOC (Supplier’s Declaration of Conformity) class products (such as Wifi 6E products). However, the content discussed during this NBTC internal meeting has not yet been officially published or released in any formal documents.
